tim mcgraw...

tim mcgraw (i will call him tim from now on) is one of those people who i really could care less about but knew i would regret it eternally... or at least a few years... if i missed the shoot. he really is a phenomenon. not the greatest singer but i think everybody knows that. what you may not know because i sure didn't, is that women would throw themselves at his feet if they could. i would actually hear sighs when the big screen would inadvertently get a shot of his chest or booty. seriously i think a lot of folks paid to look at him... and $75 a pop at that.

i don't know if it was the mix but it looked and sounded like "the dance hall doctors" could have kicked a few physicians out of the practice. seriously there was a point where at least 2 of them stopped playing and i could tell no difference. i bet there were 27 of them... or maybe 8. somewhere in there.

i'm being careful not to give tim any real props (besides his chest & booty of course) for this reason. i used to like country music , a lot. somewhere in the mid to late nineties though it started turning into something very different. i won't blame tim entirely but "indian outlaw" is on my list of "songs that changed country music for the worst". also on there would be the tractor's "boogie woogie choo choo train" neal mccoy's "wink" & joe diffies "welcome to earth third rock from the sun". i mean really, do these sound like country? the problem is now there's no turning back. i have to listen to X Country (xm) to hear any true modern country songs now. tim you owe me $12 bucks a month.... you can split it with joe diffie. anyway, i digress. tim is a superstar who married up and is worth seeing (depending on your gender) for various reasons. mine was because i was certain faith hill (i call her faith) would show up.... she didn't.

Okay, okay... I am in complete agreement with you about the downfall of country music... but, really he is HOT!! I dont care anything about his chest or hiney, I just think he is so cute!! you remember jeremiah?? I always thought that he looked like tim but acted like usher (lol). anyway again... I have been practicing alot with my photography I would love to see tim again in person.

who knew you were so into faith hill? not that i blame you. and not that i don't have to agree that tim is pretty cute. (i still think it's gross that he leaves his shirt unbuttoned.)

also, how do you feel about "she thinks my tractor's sexy?" because i still like that song even though i think it would fall into your previously mentioned category.

also, is it weird that i write blog posts to my husband while we're in the same house?

Hershbine Family said...

no its not weird... cause it lets us faithful readers know how you communicate ;0)

i don't think i would call it a shirt ...rather a blouse. if i were looking for a something similar in our house i would go straight for your side of the closet.

faith hill's not my fav either but she is more country in my opinion... and much better looking.

i would not put kenny's song in with the others. it's close but at least he's singing about tractors. ironically The Tractors are one f the farthest things from country there is... are they even around any more? for all that i don't like about kenny chesney, at least he didn't pretend to be a native american.

good talking to you today. we should do this more often.

Excuse me. You think Faith Hill is more country than Tim McGraw?? Come on. Barbecue Stain? Red Ragtop? These are country songs. Plus, he wears a cowboy hat. I mean, case closed.

Also, Tim is definitely a hottie. I think the unbuttoned blouse has grown on me over the years. I just realized that right this moment, and it is sort of upsetting.

Okay now I know I have lots of years on you guys but my mind is still good. (I think) But the music mother used to wake us up to that they called country would make me want to gouged my eyes out. It was so whinney and would grate on your last nerve. I really think that might be why so many people were alcoholics back then because that was what they had to listen to. So with that being said I can take Tim, Kenny and the rest of them. Country Boy Eddie would make me want to throw up. That was the local carrier back then. At least I can sing with these new country guys, the other guys when they sang I was in pain. =)
On to another subject... here is a website with "real cowboys" check it out sometime. http://thepioneerwoman.com It is really fun and her photography is very good. She has lots of tips that I am going to attempt as soon as I get a digital camera and join the rest of you guys.
Happy Anniversary!
Love you guys, Rhonda

rhonda...the pioneer woman is one of my favorite sites! it is one of my regular blogs to stalk...

yeah rhonda that's a good point. i'm pretty sure i wouldn't like that stuff either... thankfully i wasn't subjected to it as a young child. i guess i'm thinking of the johnny cash, waylon jennings, merle haggard, & willie nelson crowd which i guess was actually pretty progressive country at some point.

i'm being too hard on tim... he does have some good stuff.

Be still my beating heart. Today was certinaly worht tuning in. (Did you hear me sigh)
I am disregarding anything bad you daid about Tim. Or his chest hair. Or his booty. LOL!

GREAT pictures!
Great post.

Erin, ""she thinks my tractor's sexy?" is Kenny, though I still think it would make your hubby's list. BUt me-I like him too (Smile). Kenny.
And no, I think it is sweet. Romantic. And sometimes it is the only way that I can even get the attention of my hubby. Hopefully that is not the case with you two.
